This is a wonderful park with lots of walking trails. Two community gardens are in central park for people to grow vege's, herbs or whatever they wish. There is a small annual fee for a plot and a wonderful place to meet other gardeners.

Great park for a jog or bike ride. Nothing extraordinary for travelers. Relaxing spot for locals, though, for certain.

Having been born and raised in New York City, the name Central Park creates expectations. CP in Ormond is a miniature of the CP in NYC. Yet it's got a rustic charm. There are picnic areas, nature walks, ponds and now a Nature Center. Overall,...More

The park is a great place to stroll. There is a labyrinth, that is great for meditation. Hiking trails & exercise stations.

The feel of old time Florida, unspoiled and natural. They did a wonderful job connecting the 5 lakes, great for kayaking/canoeing in general but especially for beginners in need of confidence. There is no current to contend with, you are not far from shore at...More

As you walk around the single 0.6 mile trek there are two bridges and at one end the turtles gather in the afternoon sun to sun themselves on the low lying limbs that extend out over the water. There is a toilet facility with a...More
