This place is on par to all the gilded mansions in Newport, RI. The audio tour is included in the price and well worth listening too. You are allowed to take pictures inside as well. We also had afternoon tea their and was very reasonable.

I walked past this place literally hundreds of times before I finally ventured in as country houses are not really my thing. This one is beautifully maintained has good parking and if you are so inclined its right on the Lake Trail which i really enjoy. Why not park there and go for a long stroll for me North is... More

The Flagler Museum is an historic Palm Beach mansion - on the Intercoastal Waterway. The self guided tour with audio is the best way to see it. There is a lot of interesting history of Flagler, his accomplishments and family - with their impact on the development of Florida. It has beautiful grounds with an additional pavilion that includes Flagler's... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this museum--taking a trip back into The Gilded Age. We used the hand-held audio system to take a self-guided tour. We found this the best options for us--rather than the docent-led tour. We wanted to go at our own pace, and the audio provided lots of interesting info.

I visited the museum today with my two children, ages 7 and 10. We live locally, and my son learned about Henry Flagler in his fourth grade class recently. Although my children may seem young for this sort of activity, they were excited to go and did very well on the hour long tour. This was not their first experience... More

If you are in Palm Beach, be sure and visit this former home of Henry Flagler. Lots of history here. Tours are led by knowledgeable docents, and last about an hour. Beautiful home and gardens of the co-founder of Standard Oil and railroad tycoon. Lunch is available at an additional charge. Reservations suggested in season. Well worth a visit!

Standing square, tall and proud in the midst of a swaying coconut grove lives the grand inter-coastal home of the late great Mr. Henry Morrison Flagler. While there don't miss lounging outside on the lovely veranda in a rocking chair to watch the palms sway and chill! This majestic national landmark museum is well worth ones time while in Palm... This mansion explores a lifestyle that most of us will never experience. A free guided tour of the downstairs part of the residence gives a good history of Henry Flagler and his remarkable past. You then explore the upstairs, which consists mostly of bedrooms, by yourself. An audio device is provided free of charge, on which you can supplement info... More

Flagler Museum Estate is magnificent. My husband & I toured solo throughout the home and the grounds. We did not want to participate in the docent tour which is part of the $18.00 admission price, and would be beneficial to those who want the details of Flagler Family History. The home is well preserved, and the furnishings give the onlooker... More
