Fun on the farm, that describes the Florida Agricultural Museum. Visit our 1890 Florida Cracker home complete with rare heritage livestock (Cracker Cows, Cracker Horses and the Florida piney woods rooter hog). Chickens, ducks and a tame turkey greet our visitors before they depart on a tractor ride tour of the museum's historic farm buildings. Guided horseback riding is available by reservation. Horseback ride along beautiful trails over our 400 acre property or ride your horse over Interstate 95 on the "horses only" bridge to an adjoining 3000 acres of riding trails. Camping with or without your horse is available. You can also visit the Hewitt's Sawmill Archaeological Site located on a heavily treed 3/4 mile hiking trail. Discover the site of a water powered sawmill that operated from 1770 to 1813. We also rent Governor Caldwell's 5000 square foot diary barn for parties and wedding receptions. You can even get married lake side under a canopy trees. Everything at our museum is real. Not a plastic rock in the place. Come visit us and you will learn some Florida history and you might even carry home a free souvenir on your shoe. Your tour will last at lease an hour but the memories will last forever.

My wife and I became aware of the Ag Museum at this year's Ag Summit in West Palm Beach. On our trip up to Jacksonville, we stopped in to visit the Ag Museum. In rural surroundings, it's easy to pass the entrance. We did. There's a small sign indicating the Ag Museum, but once we found it, we were more... More

She hosts amazing summer camps each year that I ,myself, have been attending. The staff are amazing and give great detail about the property. They really show their guest the real beauty of Florida. The animal... More

It is located on Pellicer creek which during the civil war was the site of a battle, which is re-encacted at the Museum yearly. We went here for the antique tractor and engine show, and it was a great day out for us and our young kids (ages 1 & 3). There were lots of animals to see, all of the volunteers were super friendly, and we even got a private tour of the restored cracker farm house and old general store. I had... More

My husband and I were very disappointed this year with the haunted trails. There was hardly anything there this year. There used to be more vendors, they used to have beer, the decorations used to be better, they used to have a fire pit where you could make smores, they usually have a movie screen up playing clips of scary... Bring yourself back in time, this is a wonderful self exploratory museum. You travel freely through the area seeing history come alive in your own timeframe. Plenty of wildlife to see, horses , cattle, chickens etc. Old Florida life in a natural setting. You will enjoy this history in life , a view of past living in Florida.
