John Chestnut is a great peaceful park. Always walk the trail and see alligators along the way. It had a dog park and regular parks for kids. Great for a family.

Nice park. Good size and lots of space to explore, walk, jog, and ride a bike. Family friendly with 2 playgrounds for kids and a sand volleyball.

When you arrive at Chesnut Park, you don't expect to see deer wandering around. We would recommend you not try to feed them although they look pretty friendly. Once you get beyond the deer sighting, the walk though the rest of the park is breath...More

What a beautiful and relaxing space. Not far and will go back time and time again. Perfect trails, great for picnics! They even have a dog park!

Super park for a few hours... Good boardwalks for wildlife spotting, free parking, children's play area. We saw deer and an alligator. Lovely lake with quiet shelters.

Love this park! It has a lovely boardwalk that goes around the lake, dog park and two playgrounds for children along with other amenities. Such as ball fields and picnic areas.

I think I saw some boardwalk type paths but the trails seem to be natural. There are roads for cars thru the park.
