I was in Dothan visiting family and wanted to bring my son to the beach. I wanted a quiet, clean beach to enjoy for the day. St. Andrews is so very nice. The water was crystal clear. The sand was so fine and white. We appreciated the clean restrooms/changing rooms and the rentals available such as chairs, floats, etc. The... More

This is a very beautiful parkl with very nice well maintained facilities. There is easy access to the east end of the beach at Panama City and to the beach by the rock jetty where you can watch boats, swim and snorkel. One highlight in the spring is gator lake where we did see one gator but hundreds of large... More

We had heard about St. Andrews State Park before coming to FL, so this was definitely on our "places to go" list. It definitely didn't disappoint. St. Andrews is located 3 miles east of Panama City off Thomas Drive (State Rd. 392). The park is open every day from 8 a.m. until sunset. There is an entrance fee. The walk... More

My favorite park out of probably 40 campgrounds in Virginia, NC, SC and Fla. Close to shopping, restaurants, the gulf is amazing. Nice large sites, clean bathhouses, trails

St Andrews state Park is a beautiful place to spend a day. The beaches are clean and not too crowded. They have a camp ground and a little store. The entry fee is $8 per car. There are pavilions and even a jetty pool that is great to let the kids swim in cause the jettys block the waves.

Walk through this park a few times. It is only $2 per person a day. In the park you will see deer, frogs, birds and alligators, there are many more animals that I didn't see that are there. There is a pier that you can walk out on. The are fantastic boardwalk like trails and ocean look outs.

A great place to get away from the touristy claptrap of PCB. Lots of wildlife; fine, protected beaches; historical turpentine still; informative little nature center. Lots of camping slots (RVs).

We are visiting PCB for the winter and purchased the annual state park pass. It is good at all the state parks and covers almost all entry expenses. If you are prior military or first responder with proper I'd, you get 25% off the annual pass. We have kayaked from the park boat launch to the channel jetties several times.... More
