Peaceful day at the beach.... quiet, uncrowded, and just peaceful.... I highly recommend setting one day aside and go there to just relax and enjoy the pristine beauty of the gulf with your family.... Take some snorkel gear!!

The whole family will enjoy the beach here and there is plenty of fun for the children and the water is clear with the sugar white sand that the area is famous for.

Some many birds, even at this time of year. And the deer nearly come close enough to touch. The Heron Rookery at Gator Lake was amazing.

We rode though and stopped at two piers. The water here is incredible, but it was t swimming season so we walked the beach. Amazing emerald, crystal clear water.

There will still be boat trips over to Shell Island but the water may be too chilly to swim in unless you have a wet suit! You can still fish off of the St Andrews two fishing piers! The Black Drum and the Sheephead should... More
