I honestly feel like I should say 1 star & stay away!! This is one of those amazing places that you almost don't want to share with anyone!! The drive in was one of the most beautiful experiences.. the island is literally untouched.. none of the typical trash here and there, kids screaming, music blaring type thing. It's just gorgeous... The beaches on this island are so beautiful and soft it's easy to see how these beaches continue to receive the acclaim - it is well deserved. We stayed at the Beach Club and gazed at the beach as often as possible. Enjoy the national seahore park and the pier is quite nice. A buck will get you through the... More

A gorgeous and super clean beach with emerald green water and plenty of great restaurants. The best $1 (toll) I ever spent!

To bad we can't keep it a secret. The best beaches in the Florida Panhandle and the most friendly people. There is no place like it. Small town atmosphere with some fine restaurants and hotels. Please don't come so we can have it to ourselves. I know that is not possible but one can dream.

Miles & miles of white sugar sand beach. Parking lots. No restroom facilities. No trash cans. But... Beautiful walking beach! Look for shells, bird watch or just relax! Beautiful time. Loved it

This is a breathtaking beach,...the water, the sand and the natural surroundings are incredible, and it's just a few minutes drive down the road from Pensacola beach.

We spent a couple of hours at Fort Pickens, which was neat for a little day trip with some history. The beaches are beautiful! White sand, blue water, no trash. We saw maybe 10 people the entire time we were at the beach, which was really refreshing after fighting the crowds on Pensacola Beach. $15 to have a gorgeous beach... More

Spent a few hours here and we absolutely loved it. Beautiful water, beautiful sand. Nice drive out to the island only $1 to get over the bridge and it didn't cost anything to park. Plenty of places to find that are out of the way and quit. Can't wait to go back!
