This museum is not Wright-Patterson or Udvar-Hazy but it is a very good museum which focuses on naval aviation. Without specifically naming them, our guide admitted there were probably two other museums that were better, but they were happy being #3. Our first guide was outstanding and told the history of naval aviation with lots of interesting stories. We only... More

Great place to visit with family and friends. Tuesday's and Wednesday's are the practice days at 11:30 but be sure to get in line early or you will standing up for the show. You can take your own lawn chairs but not your water.

Our last stop for our spring break trip, we visited the national naval aviation museum. Ensure you bring your ID because it is on a base and it will be checked multiple times. The staff was very knowledgeable and great free tours. Would like to go back soon.

If you're coming to Pensacola you don't want to miss this Museum. The variety of different aircraft's that they have available for you to see and read about is unbelievable. They also have a couple Blue Angels on show as Pensacola is home to the Angels. The Museum is free and ask for donations. They also offer an IMAX showing... More

To say this was an incredible visit truly minimizes the experience. Done with dignity and honor. Spent most the day visiting as many exhibits as we could. Took over 100 pictures to share with family and friends. The the flight simulator was an awesome experience, recommend you go on it. I highly recommend this to everyone, old or young.

Brought cub Scouts to the museum while making our way to the Uss Alabama. So much to see. We were unable to watch a large screen movie in the theater but we did ride in the blue angel simulator.

We visited mid-March expecting to just enjoy the museum. But then jets started flying by so we went outside and were treated to an unannounced Blue Angels practice. What a treat! An excellent day unexpectedly got better. We are returning next week for a scheduled performance--and maybe the next day too.
