We attended a ballgame at Blue Yahoos Stadium for the first time and were pleasantly pleased with this ballpark. It appears to be fairly new and very well kept. It is very clean, easy to find your seating and the park attendants are very helpful and pleasant to talk with. Our only concern was the amount of dogs that were at the park last night. They were into your space while trying to watch the game, smelling your food, and some were too close to your face. Please people leave them home.

The experience of going to a game at Blue Wahoo Stadium was First class and great. Parking was easy and right next to stadium. Ticketing was easy as I chose to go through the box office. The stadium is surrounded by Pensacola Bay and a great place to walk around before entering the stadium.Seats are all good an close to the action. Game was delayed aft the 2nd inning due to a passing thunderstorm and the stadium personnel kept us informed of when game was starting. My favorite of the 5 Southern LeagueStadiums that I visit on my trip.

1000% recommend adding this to your family things to do. Great atmosphere with every seat being a good one. Plenty of places to eat and grab a sweet treat. We had the best time and can’t wait to come out and support the team again!

Wahoos Ballpark is fun for whole family. Great entertainment during baseball games. They also have different events with concerts behind ballfield. They have selected home game fireworks show that are amazing! Tickets are cheap.

Great place to watch future MLB stars! Reasonably priced tickets, food, drinks and nice and clean. Very well-manicured field.

The ballpark provides a good, safe, fun environment for all to experience. The staff works really hard to make everybody happy to be there.

Decided to catch a last minute Wahoos game here. Traffic can be a little crowded getting in and out of this stadium so get there early. Paid parking but there are alternative places to park in the neighborhood also.
Games are pretty cheap. And there really isn't a bad seat in the house. They even sell standing room only tickets. However, concession prices are exactly what you'd expect...highly priced.
Located right on the water, summer temps aren't too bad when there's a breeze. This stadium is ADA compliant and has elevators for those wanting to catch whatever activity is going on.

On the side of the stadium near the right field.
Is there a fee for parking?

Yes but I am not sure how much that is. There are plenty of parking spots available around the stadium at a short walk distance for only a few dollars. I hope this helps.
Which side of stadium has sun at your back and where are seats in shade?

Since the sun sets in the west, I would recommend sitting by first base or behind home plate. Home plate at the top will have the most shade.
About what time did the fireworks go off? Thank you.

I don’t remember exactly. It was a quick game by baseball standards. The fireworks started probably ten minutes after the end of the game. I would guess somewhere between 9:00 and 9:15.

We're visiting early September from the UK, are there any games then?

Unfortunately the baseball home season ends the last week of August - they have a few away games in September. However, there are some options. The University of West Florida plays their home American football games there and they have home games September 9, 16, and 23. The venue is wonderful and is the highlight even more than the sporting event. Arguably the environment with football games is even better......and very exciting. I highly recommend you go.....combine with a visit to one of the several good restaurants withing walking distance of the Stadium in downtown Pensacola. Buy tickets online before you come as availability is somewhat limited. If your budget allows sitting in the Hancock bank club seats, do so.

Do you have a game schedule for June? If so I'd love to get or download one since we will be at Seaside for a couple of weeks in mid-June.

You are in luck!
Wahoos are home 10-19 June with a game every day and night.
They are also home 29-30.
