We have visited many times and never see large crowds. Several choices for trails. We see some wildlife but have not seen a lot. If you want to get away from the crowds and enjoy nature this is a good choice.

The trails are well maintained and the wildlife is abundant for observing! It's a beautiful clean park and well worth visiting if you like nature and wildlife!
Nice place if you like a hike. Trails are really trails between 1 mile to 1 1/2 miles long. Seen some wildlife including gators but it was midday so I am sure they were hunkered down from the heat. Visitor center was nice and cool....More
Stroll on in for some wildlife viewing. A must visit on well marked trails. Watch out for the gators though.You will see them.
