We decided to check our this local famous trail. Very nicely done on an old railroad track. We parked at the main trailhead just south of the Publix at Gasparilla Rd /771 and McCall Rd/ 776. This is on the right hand side. There is...More

This trail is nicely paved, and feels pretty remote, which is nice. Not many long views, as the trees are pretty close to the trail. You do cross a bridge over a creek, though, which some people walk to and fish from. My biggest problem...More

A nicely maintained path that's easy to walk or even ride your bike. Good marker salon the path so you can monitor your distance. We were there in August so it's very quiet, but have walked the path in high season and can get busy....More

Lots of wildlife siting along the way. It was very enjoyable to see eagles nesting in the trees. You will not be disappointed

First the good: nice even trail, wide, well-maintained. Has mile markers ever 1/2 mile. Now the rest of the story: LOTS of bike riders!!! I mean lots!!! Only saw one other person walking. The scenery is kind of boring since it's just a long strait...More

We often use this trail for cycling and running. Really appreciate that water is available at beginning and end of the 8 mile route. One wish is that all cyclists say something like 'on your left' when passing another cyclist or a runner.

This a nice paved trail near the road to Boca Grande. It is a great exercise trail. Not too many other people on the trail. It is worth a visit. There are tables at the trail head and t Publix nearby if you want food.

It is right on the edge of Port Charlotte and Rotunda West. I find it on mine using the city of Port Charlotte.

From 1138 go North on Boundry Bouv. Take first right, and you are there, you can either go left on the trail or right. The trail is actually at the back of 1138 Enjoy!
