I loved the Oldest Store, however, I would have preferred to walk through on my own. The guides were trying too hard to be funny and it was sort of annoying. However, they had tons of cool things to look at! A must see.

It's a nice place to see if you like a lot of old stuff. It's a store full of old washers, tools, and a general store filled with things from the old days. Kids may be a little bored if they are not into looking at that kind of thing.

Usually I don't mind tourist traps, but this one was over the top. Had a ticket to visit a museum in the complex, but school groups blocked the way preventing any other visitors from looking around (even tried to go backwards but got trapped by another group).. Ran away as quickly as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to share. I am sorry the school groups interfered with your enjoyment of the attraction. As an overview, the Old Store is packed full of some of the “Latest and best time saving miracles from the 1900’s”. Our friendly clerks, butcher and snake oil salesman should have demonstrated some of the very latest inventions... More

George and Isaac were our tour guides and they are as good as it gets. The museum itself is a treasure with the authenticity of the items. George and Isaac brought them to life. It is a short tour and very worthwhile.

A short history lesson into former times. Interesting to see how far we have come today and how different things were back in the olden days.

The oldest store by the old jail is an awesome tour of an old general store! It gives you a look at how the old stores operated years ago. They have many very nice vintage products on display. Even our teenage daughter loved it!

Stopped by the Oldest Store today and enjoyed the history and stories. The guides were knowledgeable about the store and told a lot of stories that included some visitor participation.

If you like antiques and enjoy history, check it out; otherwise it would of been better if the Tour Guide shared more about the items in the oldest store.

As part of the St Augustine Old Town Trolley Tour, we stopped at St. Augustine's Oldest Store for a fascinating peek back in time to a simpler time with no computers (or labor-saving devices). The automatic "corn kernel husker" demo highlighted the ingenuity of a generation without our "modern day" conveniences. The period costumes of the friendly staff were intriguing... More

Great tour! Most of the merchandise was actually items used during that time period, not just new stuff made to look old. Several items were demonstatred.
