This is a very interesting historical site. Certainly worth a visit. $10 per adult for a 7 day pass and kids under 15 are free. The park rangers were friendly and very informative. The history is well presented throughout the fort. There were lots of...More

What a great adventure we had here! In a little over an hour, we toured this fort on our own, absolutely an amazing fort, that visitors shouldn’t miss! Our Nat’l park pass that we’ve had for years, got us in and absorbed the $10 per...More

On my first trip to St. Augustine, I made it my mission to ensure that I saw this landmark. I love history, and although the entire town is a chunk of culture, the Castillo de San Marcos truly is the relic of the Eastern Coast....More

It is part of the National Park Service so don't forget your National Park pass like we did! Figured they could use the funds and we did thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Very informative self-tour, enjoyed walking the grounds and the views are spectacular.

Well worth the visit. To see and read about the history and the importance that the fort played in the creation of St. Augustine was awesome. To see such a creation and knowing how old it is and how long it has stood is mind...More

Hard to imagine this being an active Spanish fortification. So interesting. Beautiful structure right along the waterway. Easy to get to from the various lodging options in the Old City. You will come here at some point during your trip, whether you go inside, or...More

It’s elevated above and right on the bay, so it’s definitely windy, but the interior of the fort is blocked by the walls, and there are many little rooms to visit with interesting artifacts.
