The kids and entire family loved it! When we were attempting to purchase tickets and was asked about military service(which my husband is active duty) and we got a card for other parks and free entry 🤗 the kids loved all the rooms and history!...More

Everyone calls this a castle and it feels like one. It has a drawbridge and 2 dry moats. There are tours throughout the day. We enjoyed learning about the Spanish, English, and American occupants of the Fort. The staff was well informed and friendly. The...More

Self guided so you can take your time looking at everything and take it all in. Awesome place and history. We always make it a point to stop here on our way to/from Orlando

Bought a pass to the park system and took the whole family to see the fort. Grandchildren loved it. Fun for the adults too.

It was a fun tour! Walking around the fort looking in all the rooms they had was very interesting. It was by the Bay and you could see the ocean. There was a nice breeze that day coming off the bay. That made it more...More

It was interesting to see and walk around in such an old fort with a drawbridge and a moat! There was a lot to read and learn, through the many posters and displays, but I wish there would have been a guide there to show...More

Greatly enjoyed our visit today. We were lucky enough to get in on a Ranger guided tour that was very informative.

Cool place to get a bit of the areas history. 13 year old and 6 year old were not amused at all. Nice place though.

There is so much history here and so much to see and learn. It's interesting to walk around and wonder about all the soldiers and families that fought and lived there. My only complaint was the massive mosquitoes (yeah I know it's Florida but still,...More

Yes, there is a parking lot right at the fort but it is often full. If it is there is a city parking deck just a couple blocks away and some meter parking along the street.

We didn't see any inside the fort, but they were down around the bottom (where the old moat was).
