What a nice place to visit, informative staff and the grounds are beautiful. The peacocks will keep you entertained and the info and insite from the staff was very interesting. And take a drink from the fountain... it cant hurt :)

Leave yourself time to walk through this historical park and the Fountain of Youth. Seeing the Fountain of Youth discovered by Ponce de Leon in 1513 and tasting the water still flowing from the fountain was a definite highlight. There is a statute in the park to Pedro Menendez de Aviles who founded St Augustine on this site in 1565.... More

The place was ok; it just needs updating badly. The admission cost was a little steep ($15) for what is there. Could have skipped it.

Another interesting historical area in the St Augustine area--best of all it is dog-friendly even inside the theaters. It definitely has a lot of the "Old Florida" tourist feel with retro Globe display. Nice place to walk around and catch up on history for one hour. Pleasantly uncrowded as it off the beaten path of downtown St. Augustine.

This was the last stop on our one day visit to St. Augustine. My friend had visited once years before and thought that it would be fun for her great grandchildren to be able to say that they had the chance to drink from the fountain. The park was closing in just over an hour. We still had to pay... More

We figured that it would only take a few minutes to see the Fountain of Youth, but we ended up spending a few hours there. There is so much to see and learn there. The area is beautifully kept and organized. We enjoyed each talk and exploring the original Catholic church, the Indian village, and watching the enactment of firing... More

I really thought this would be a bit cheezy, but this was actually one of the places I really enjoyed. The best parts were the interactive demonstrations. We stayed at the blacksmith's workshop alone for over 20 minutes. A real working, producing blacksmith teaches you all about his craft and answers all the questions without missing a beat of his... From what I can tell, there is no evidence that Ponce De Leon came here. Not worth the entrance fee!

The price was reasonable for the two hours we spent there taking in the different things to see and do.

The fountain of youth is a nice place to visit. I have always wanted to drink from the fountain of youth so I hope I'm young forever! the kids enjoyed the cannon firing the blacksmith was excellent. There were peacocks in one area just flying around and walking on the roof. This place has so much history.
