We visited the museum this past weekend and it was my favorite stop in St. Augustine. It is not a huge museum, but it's packed full of pirate-y goodness. Every room is set up to make you feel like you're in different parts of a ship. I want my house to look like this place! You can do a fun... More

We are two seniors - so not too impressed. Smaller than I thought. Grandchildren would like it. Love s of pirate booty in the gift shop.

The price is a little much for the size of the museum but if you are into pirates it is worth the visit. Very interactive for kids and has nice displays.

Yo ho! If you have enjoyed "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Peter Pan" and other movies featuring pirates, or the ride at Disney, you will love this museum. It features stories of the real pirates and artifacts including treasures of the Atocha with silver and gold recovered from a famous Spanish galleon not far off the coast of the Florida Keys.... Enjoyed it and the exhibits were very well done, but the building was somewhat cramped. If the opportunity came up, would encourage the museum to get a larger building where all the visitors are not on top of each other.

This is a great place to stop and have fun learning history . If you have a chance to be there when the guides do the tour its much more fun and entertaining . . Cost for a family is a littlle much if you're on a budget .

I take all visiting friends and family here and I always find something new to marvel at. Be sure you engage with the tours! They cost nothing and enhance the... More

This is a nice little museum... With hidden treasures to find. We had a good time looking around reading the info. and searching for the hidden items.

Though there was a lot of history and artifacts here, the museum is fairly small and the gift shop counter, which doubles as the admission counter, was crowded and busy. Appears to cater mostly to children.
