We really enjoyed our visit to the museum. It was really well laid out and had very cool artifacts. My son's favorites were the cannons that were modified to "shoot" and the audio experience (by Disney!) of a battle with Blackbeard. They have a "treasure hunt" for kids where kids look for clues and get "booty" at the end of... More

Fun tour with Captain Mayhem....he made the visit extremely enjoyable. Advice...you should visit. The location is perfect. Easy to get it, get out and have lunch or dinner. Search around for an easy couple dollars off admission too.

Better for small children, teenagers not so good. It was small and fast, not much history or real events to reference but it had some cool artifacts.

It is true, we are a smaller museum in size, but we do pack in over 800 artifacts and exhibits to view and participate in. I am sorry that the museum wasn't to your particular liking, but I do thank you for taking time to visit and I hope you enjoyed the rest of your journey in the Nation's Oldest... More

I was expecting this to be child-orientated and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of exhibits aimed at adults. Great for all ages.

We view ourselves as a museum for children of any age - so long as one has a tiny interest in the history of piracy. I'm so glad that you came in and enjoyed the exhibition we have on display - thank for taking time to visit! More

Really enjoyed seeing all the pirate memobilia and history. Didn't think it would be enjoyable at first but was very pleased once inside. Pricing was quite reasonable. I would recommend to friends going to St Augustine . Fun activities as well as a treasure hunt to do once inside - kids should like this.

What a fun place was with my granddaughter and she wanted to stay all day. A pirates life was interesting and not as exciting as we thought. Great history lesson again in a great city

You might think this museum is only for kids and it is really interesting for them. But it is also really informative for adults as well.

This museum is truly that! Educational and full of fun interactive exhibits as well as treasure. A great value for the ticket price. The pirate that gave the overviews was wonderful too! Will take any in town visitors and recommend to all!

This attraction surprised and delighted our family of five, all adults. The entire collection of relics and treasure is authentic - no fakes! That doesn't mean it's boring or stuffy, though. Very entertaining for age 8 up, unless the child is very sensitive. Some displays and animatronics are very scary. We've been back several times with relatives and friends and... More
