We had a lovely time! B antiques on display in each room of this museum-quality house were wonderful! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and she's been working there as a docent for 20 years. It's also wonderful to hear about how the Women's Exchange began. A must see in St. Augustine!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. The Pena Peck House is filled with wonderful antiques and art work from the Peck family, circa 1830s to 1931. As you learned, The Woman's Exchange was founded in St. Augustine in 1892 and moved into the Pena Peck House in 1932 to take over the management of the House for the... More

We stopped in. No one greeted us or told us anything about what was there. It was literally 6 square feet of looking at a dining room, which was interesting. I think the tour guide and gift shop worker were way too busy chatting to tell us the information or show us anything. Free, but I am sure we missed... More

I was VERY disappointed to get your review. I am the President of the Woman's Exchange, which is a non-profit, volunteer organization that has managed the Pena Peck House for the City of St. Augustine since 1932. Our first responsibility should be to welcome our guests, tell them about the organization and our mission-women helping women, tell them about the... More

St. Augustine is full of history, but in my opinion, way too many souvenir shops as well. We were visiting the area during the week between Christmas and New Years and the town was packed with people. We were so happy to escape the masses of people on St. George street to enjoy a tour of the Pena-Peck house. The... More

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are a respite from the hustle and bustle of St. George Street. It is like you go back in time to an antebellum period. As you learned, we are a non-profit group of volunteers, called the Woman's Exchange. Our fund raising goes toward the maintenance of the Pena Peck House and... More

Was unaware of the Pena-Peck House until son and I accidently wandered in while strolling down St George St and ended up spending a good 15 minutes here shopping and chatting with the ladies. Wow! Excellent selection of unique and handmade items and super nice women. And the courtyard/garden was lovely! Wish we had more time so we could have... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I agree that we have "great finds". We are a non-profit made up of volunteers, and we work hard to find hand crafted items and other vendor items that are different than most gift shops. This was our second visit to the Pena Peck House in a year. When we took the tour, it was with Gayle. She gave us a rich history lesson that was the most informative one that I have enjoyed in a long time. There was a calm and happy feeling throughout the house. The tall windows with lace curtains lightly... More

My husband and I like history so we decided to check out this house. Our tour guide Polly was very knowledgeable and friendly. She took her time to explain the history of the house and made sure all of our questions were answered. The house is beautiful and has a lot of artifacts and has been very well kept. They... More

A great trip around this historic property in St Augustine and one easy to overlook. A fascinating insight into the 450 years of St Augustine's story.

An interesting piece of history and well preserved. Our guide (I think her name was Ellen) was very knowledgeable about everything in the home. Definitely the best volunteer guide I've ever encountered. Will bring guests here in the future.

I stop by every few months to support the woman's exchange. They've done a great job of finding unusual items from local pottery to imported jewelry to wonderful food items. Because of their work, the Pena-Peck is in awesome shape.
