a tree fell on it. Very sad. much of the property off limits due to recent hurricane damage. Church and museum open. Gift shop flooded/too damaged. they've put in a temporary gift shop near museum. bridge moved during storm....docent said he thinks it'll all be up and running/open again by May? Hope so, such a peaceful, lovely property.

The people here are very friendly and are able to answer most questions you have. Hurricane Matthew left alot of damage here at the mission. You can't walk the grounds, but you can tour the museum. There is no charge, but donations are excepted.

I hope the bridge, damaged by Hurricane Matthew, gets repaired soon, but the church is still a place of peace

Unfortunately the site was closed due to hurricane damage. However, from what we could see, the site looked very peaceful. We will be back on our next visit.

We tried to visit the Mission while in this area visiting another attraction. Unfortunately the side gate was locked, and the bridge over to the area roped off. A local resident said the Mission was still closed due to damage from hurricane Matthew. However, you can still get a nice view of the large cross, statue, and the iconic front... More

I visit the mission every time we are in St Augustine. Matthew had done significant damage and the mission itself and the gifthsop were closed however the museum and the church were open it is a very peaceful place to go and admission is by donation

It is a very quiet place to go, the chapel of Our Lady of la Leche (Our Lady of the mIlk) is unique. I am Roman Catholic and never heard of that avocation before

The museum is small, but filled with great artifacts and historical relics! The volunteers are fantastic-Greg was extremely knowledgeable and eager to share-which was great! It's certainly worth a peek into and if you're there around noon, pop into mass.
