I went recently with my family and loved it. The tour gives a very good description of just about everything on the property. The history is very interesting to read about but even better when your there on a tour. The biggest thing that surprised me was that it took about an hour to go through the buildings you would... I loved visiting the Ximenez-Fatio House. It was a great glimpse into the lifestyle of the people who stayed there while it was a boarding house. Definitely worth the visit!

We toured this 18th century boarding house with friends from England. We were all impressed with the authenticity and attention to detail. Our tour guide Irene gave a very good tour in her excellent speaking voice. We will take others who are visiting here to this gem in the old city.

Visiting Ximenez-Fatio House is one of my favorite tours in St. Augustine. It is $10 a person which is cheap compared to other tours downtown. We were in a group of 8 and we taken around a former board house. We were able to go into each room and hear the history of each room, its owner and inhabitants. We... More

We visited St. Augustine several times before we found this, and I wish we had known about it sonner! This tour is incredible, and so informational! They decorated the grounds and building as it would have been, so it is like a trip through time! Absolutely one of my favorite tours!

The tour of this old boarding house was a glimpse into life in that time period. Our tour guide was Irene, and she was fun and knowledgeable about the house, it's furnishings, and the people who lived there. I loved how she pointed out little things which we may not have noticed on our own. The property is well maintained... More

This is a great museum and tour. They do a great job of replicating the furnishings and items used during the time period. Our tour guide Brian was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. If you enjoy history or learning a little bit out life in the 1800s this is the place to visit! Not to mention, this...
