San Sebastian Winery, founded in 1996 is located at 157 King Street, St....

San Sebastian Winery, founded in 1996 is located at 157 King Street, St. Augustine, Florida in one of Henry Flagler’s old East Coast Railway buildings located just a few blocks from historic downtown. According to historians, this area is the birthplace of American wine, dating back to 1562. Today, San Sebastian ranks as one of Florida's premium wineries, and remains a pioneer in the development of table, sparkling and dessert wines from hybrid and muscadine grapes. Vintage-dated varietals from hybrids such as Stover and Blanc Du Bois are produced and marketed along with blended and sparkling wines from native Muscadine grapes. Port and Cream Sherry dessert wines are also produced by and sold under the San Sebastian brand. Together, these labels have won many awards for excellence in winemaking, over 300 so far with more to come each season. Every year more than 100,000 people are expected to visit the winery’s extensive tasting room and wine shop. San Sebastian Winery has an overall production of over 80,000 cases, (that’s over 960,000 bottles!). San Sebastian wines are sold at the winery and at major supermarkets and wine shops throughout Florida. “The Cellar Upstairs” Wine, Jazz & Blues Bar, open weekends, is located on the rooftop of the Winery building and is a best kept secret with locals. Open on weekends, featuring incredible live music from a wide range of talented local and regional Bands. Relax to the music and enjoy the tremendous views overlooking the St. Augustine skyline while enjoying a glass of San Sebastian Wine and light appetizers.

We visited here today. The wife and I thoroughly enjoyed sampling the many different wines they offer. The tour is self guided which was okay by me. I think I would of more enjoyed being led on a tour with someone available to answer questions. It seemed that more of the focus was on providing you samples which was enjoyable.... More

Tour with wine tasting is most entertaining and informative - roof top lounge is a wonderful view of the shrimp boats and food is good - live entertainment is good

Trolley stopped at this winery and we are very glad that we decided to get off and take the tour. Small winery but interesting and informative film and generous wine tasting - tasty too! 😊 Really friendly people.

I only did the free tasting tour. Not particularly informative and the hosts seemed only mildly interested in engaging visitors. I felt rushed. Here's your sample - move on to the next station. But the wines were very good.

Walked to the winery from town. So worth it. The wine tasting was great, and then we headed up to the rooftop bar and had a glass of wine and some lunch. I'll definitely stop in again when I'm in the area.

Charming location in the old train station. Get a peek at how wine is made. Enjoy lots of little samples.

The wine tasting was fun & informative & our guide was very knowledgeable. Everyone we encountered at the winery was very friendly. Would like to go back when the grapes are harvested (June).

The tour is a little disappointing but it worth going just for the rooftop bar. They serve their wines, specialty drinks and beer. Cool setting and an easy walk just a few blocks from Lightner museum. They have live music on the weekends. Worth checking out!

This is really an excellent and unique winery- they do great, informative tastings, and we always get a mixed case of their wines to take home! This time we got their Vintner's Red, which we love, and also their and Rosa and Creme Sherry, but we've also bought their Port, which is delicious, too. Only wish we had more time... More

Disappointed in the "tour". It used to be an actual narrated tour. Now it is just walking around for the tasting. Don't get me wrong...love the wine...but miss the real tour!
