First time I ever visited the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. I was a little disappointed in the amount of art shown. It is small in comparison to other museums. I do not care for abstract art, which they seem to have plenty...More

This Museum is a small gem amongst others in some US cities. Nice location along the waterfront. Plenty of places to sit and eat before or after. Easy parking. Discount entry fees always available. See them out!

I was lucky enough to get a personal tour w/ a lovely docent. Enjoyed the afternoon. It is an interesting collection. Quite a contrast to the Dali Museum.

The Museum of Fine Arts has a wonderful interior and exterior that houses fantastic displays. In house Cafe is very appealing along with WiFi. We visited during Star Wars Costume display show.

The Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg is worth the visit and membership. They just completed Star Wars the costumes, well worth the visit for any age group. The museum has a diverse collection and special events. The small restaurant makes for a complete afternoon.

This museum is physically lovely and is nicely laid out, with different rooms dealing with art from different periods and places. It doesn't have many first-rate pieces, but it's an enjoyable experience to go through it.

Check their website, I am not sure of a senior discount. AARP members get in free on certain Sunday's but you still pay extra for special exhibits.

That would be correct. Yes, it is a "big ticket" item but if you are a Star Wars fan, the exhibit is nicely done.
