Saw most popular attraction of Mahaffey season: 90-year old singer from the 1940's. Could barely move on stage much less sing. Other season offerings are obscure, bizarre and just plain uninteresting. Rude staff, uncomfortable seats. Skip this venue and save your money for Straz and...More

Loved the venue and the outdoor area. Seats are comfortable enough and restrooms and bar service is great. Issue was with the "sound" during the performance... so loud that people were holding their heads, people were leaving and people were complaining that their ears were...More

Recent renovations have given it outstanding acoustics. You can even hear the triangle in the Florida Orchestra - a great musical experience. Easily accessible in a beautiful area of St. Pete and next to the Dali Museum. Do go!

My family and I attended the Wild Kratts Live! show at the Mahaffey, our first visit to the facility, and I was impressed. Getting there was a bit of a hassle. It's located on the water in downtown St. Pete, which means that getting there...More

We recently went to the symphony orchestra playing Star Wars vs Star Trek. We had seats in the balcony about halfway up. Both the sound and view were great quality.

The seating is excellent and the acoustics are very good for a Florida Orchestra concert or a show. Parking is convenient and downtown St Pete offers great restaurants and bars.

My wife, Bonnie, and I love the comfort and beauty of the "Mahaffey." This version of the Righteous Brothers (RBs) entertains closely to the Medley/Hatfield Crew, my choice for Best Duo of all-time (Simon/Garfunkel, 1a). I enjoyed the RBs in their "heyday" at Busch Gardens,...More

What a great show! Bill Medley was terrific as was Bucky Heard, the replacement for Bobby Hatfield. The show started on time and was 90 minutes of great music and entertainment. Bill mixed in quite a few jokes during the night which made it all...More

Most people that I have seen wear a business casual; but it is Florida--most anything goes using common sense.

No they are not allowed. It could have been the show I went to wouldn’t allow them. I’m not sure if that is policy of the Theater.
