The lighthouse was anticlimatic, but the area is beautiful. If you are a bird watcher this is the place to be.

Dont go unless you want to be disappointed. Not a thrill to see this small lighthouse. Waste of time.

Had a nice morning of shelling on the lighthouse beach. There is a pay to park lot for $4 per hour and you should get there early for a spot, especially during season. Nice boardwalks to the white sand beach. Gulf water is shallow and...More

Quaint, beautiful beaches, great shelling - many go there for the really tiny shells. In our experience, less busy that some other areas.

The lighthouse wasn't opened when we visited, probably because of so much rain. It wasn't much to see and kind of disappointing that it didn't look like a regular lighthouse.

We peddled our bikes along the coastline to the lighthouse. Was a nice surprise. Would of liked to go into it but it was all closed off. You can see the lighthouse on at night as well.

We visited this beach for a couple of hours one day while on vacation. Kids liked playing in the water and finding shells. We walked from the spot where we set up chairs to lighthouse point and it is a beautiful sight!

It was nice for a quick visit. There was a beautiful rainbow when we visited so that was nice for pictures.

You cannot access it. There are mostly condo rentals on Sanibel. Very few hotels.

There are a few rental services on the island. I believe you can order equipment online and they will take it to the place you are staying at one of the services. You can google "beach chair rentals Sanibel island", you... More
