Periwinkle Way is a great place for multiple shopping experiences while you're on Sanibel Island. I'm sure most can find something good to take home!

It's all a bit t-shirt, t-shirt, t-shirt, once you've been in one shop you've been in most of them. The Shell shop is nice and we usually buy some gifts in there but the whole place is lacking variety, we go wanting to buy things...More

The "Main Drag". Traffic usually busy but not unreasonable. I got a kick out of the traffic directors instead of traffic lights. Surprised there are not more fender benders.

The heartbeat of the Island. It had it all. Bars, Liquor store, Ice Cream, Pubs, restaurants, retail stores, grocery stores, Bait and Tackle, everything you could need is stretched all along Periwinkle Way. All which is connected by fantastic, safe bike paths.

Periwinkle Way is the main road along the beautiful island of Sanibel. It tends to be busy, but the speed limit is generally 30mph so progress is steady. Periwinkle Way gives access to many of the island's shops and restaurants and for most of its...More

Great shops, never seems very crowded, personnel always friendly and helpful. The prices seem to have sky rocked lately.

Fun scenic drive! Kind of congested would be easier to walk or bike through the area. Lots of shopping and some good choices to eat.

This is the main road on to the island and the thoroughfare to most of the shops and restaurants that cater to tourists.
