We took our family here on a bike ride and stopped here for a little break and spent about two hours while the kids played in the shade and enjoy the climbing equipment. There is even a volleyball net up and we had a chance to use that too. Wonderful use of all the space and a great place to... More

Took a break from the beach and visited the Sanibel Community Playground around 10:00 on a weekday morning. It is a super fun playground with equipment in good repair, appropriate for both younger children and older children. It is clean, has bathrooms and water fountains, and is under a canopy so that it stays relatively cool. The equipment is in... More

This is one of the best playgrounds I've visited, there are two separate structures one for younger kids, one for older, two sets of swings including a tire swing. The playground is shaded and has restrooms. It's a must visit for those with kids.

This is a beautiful park. There are many things for kids to do; swings, slides and equipment to climb on. There is a huge shade canopy over the park, so you don't have to worry about the sun. Bathrooms are nearby and there are plenty of benches for parents. There is also a large free parking lot. It's a great... More

Our four year old enjoyed our 1.5 hour visit. Thoughtfully shaded with benches for parents, right off the bike trails with two different play structures for younger and older kids, nice bark padding underfoot.

Take the time to stop and let your kids get some energy spent at the playground. My kids have enjoyed this for some time and have unfortunately outgrown it. We ride by though on nearly every visit to the Island and it is a hit with all those who take the time to stop and enjoy this little community jewel!

A very nice playground for all ages of children. Lots of room, and the restrooms are nearby. Water fountains, too.

This park is a great place to bring young children. The playground equipment is first rate. There are plenty of things for them to do. There are swings, slides, and many things for the children to climb on. All of the equipment is covered, to provide a shaded area for the children. It is also a nice place to take... More

The playground is well-maintained and clean, bathrooms are nearby in the parking lot. The playground is along the bike-path @ Periwinkly Way, so a very easy stop when riding with the kids. The playground is mostly shaded, but equipment will still be pretty hot depending on the time of day... the cover does not shield rain so thing will be... More
