This beach is beautiful. This one is great for walking. It is not as far to get out to the water as some others we visited. Can walk for a long way and enjoy some natural surroundings. As buildings are on the other side of the access road. Also has a concession stand and restrooms available.

I have been to this beach twice and both times it has been a wonderful experience. The sand is like talcum powder. There is a ton of room and no reason for anyone to be on top of you. water is lovely. Go and find out for yourself.

We were in town for a couple of days and this beach worked great for us because of it's proximity to our hotel about 3 miles away. We were able tro rent chairs and there was ample parking and a snack bar.

We were there in the afternoon so the parking was easy. There is a bath house and a pool. Not sure on the hours of that. We had a nice long stroll up the beach and even saw a kite surfer as the breeze was pretty strong. There was a store also but it was closed when we were there... More

We came to visit a friend in Sarasota and of course, visited the beaches, The beach itself was beautiful. However, we experienced a bad situation with the concession stand renting the beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Because it was not 10:00 a.m. (the time they apparently opened for business), the man would NOT let us rent a beach... More

Went to siesta the day before cause, well it's he #1 beach. It was gorg sand and great concessions and bathrooms. On the neg, Parking was a nightmare and you had like 3' between you and others. We wanted something a bit less intense and more relaxed. Lido was perfect balance. Sand not as fine but definitely nice. Water was... More

We are from Wisconsin and we're visiting Florida for the week. We stopped by this beach to compare it to Siesta Key and we're in search of sea shells. This beach is very nice, a little more natural, coarser sand and had lots of shells to collect. We had a great time here and also enjoyed visiting St. Aramonds Circle... More

Lido Key Beach is the BEST beach by far! So many nice shops to visit and a good variety of restaurants to choose from. The beach was stunning and the grounds are incredibly clean and easy to navigate. If you're looking for a vacation destination, this is definitely the place to go!
