I have seen several performances from Plays to Symphonies and they were very special. The seating is difficult since there is NO CENTER ISLE. It makesentry and exit a little cumbersome.

First of all remember that if anyone in your party is handicapped elderly or has trouble walking, it will be a real challenge to attend any performance here except with valet parking. If it is raining, you will be drenched before you even get inside....More

We went to the Cleveland Orchestra Concert at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall with friends. This was our first visit and found the experience to be below expectations. As noted in other reviews, your choice of parking should be driven by your ticket location....More

An army of friendly, helpful volunteers, clean bathrooms throughout facility. Easy parking-part to the far end or use valet. Jackson Browne in concert. He was great, acoustics were outstanding.

Sold out....and stuffed in. Problem with overpriced tickets in secondary market. Call their ticket office to understand their policy. New restaurant(buffet) offering and cocktail prices a bit high.....considering the low wages for wait staff. They were not prepared for the demand, but manager reacted quickly...More

We visited the "VW" with a group of friends, and the whole experience was not what any of us would consider to be exceptional by any stretch of the imagination. The layout is very strange -- LONGGGGGG rows with no aisles. After the show started,...More

What is to love about the Van Wezel, Sarasota's purple seashell of a hall on the bayfront? Location, view, color, architecture. It was designed by the Frank Lloyd Wright studio, Taliesin, and Wright's widow had a hand in selecting the inspiration--a seashell with the lavender...More
