We shopped after dinner and it was so fun. Many specialty stores, fun store names and most had very helpful employees. You can eat, shop and people watch for hours. If you are in the area, go there

A wonderful place to spend the day! There are many restaurants to choose from. There are coffee shops, ice cream, candy, and every type of food restaurant available to choose from. The shops are also everything you could imagine from children's to women's to knick knacks to shoes and art work. It is separated into 4 quadrants so it is... More

Enjoyed lunch people watching. Many pstio seatings around the circle. Most shops and restaurants are over the top for a beach town.

Frankly, this is the place to go in Sarasota County for a relaxing evening if you want to do some shopping and eating. My personal routine is usually to start at Columbia Restaurant. You cannot go wrong with any of the food there. It is usually packed to the gills however. I've been eating here religiously for 27 of my... More

These are all best visited and enjoyed on foot as traffic always seems busy making it a challenge to see much from the car. This trip - I've been here about a dozen... More

St. Armand's Circle is literally a four streets converging onto a large roundabout with generally upmarket shops and restaurants for a block in all directions. There are frequently exhibits, art shows, etc. in the center of the circle, which is park-like. This is a pedestrian friendly area, 2 short blocks from Lido Beach. If you're visiting, check out what events... More

A lot of circus history you will find here. Many boutique shops, restaurants, and spots for libations.
