Music for kids, Christmas lighted paths leading to animals. Newly added fire ring for doing smores and hot chocolate. Hand feed flamingos or get your picture with santa. A very fun old school simple Christmas stop. Very colorful light display, good for pictures. Have Been there many times and always had a good time.

I went here for a few hours in the afternoon, they have a good amount of space. Could expand the enclosures slightly for my liking, it is however a great place to visit and learn about animals. There is a chance to interact and the staff are knowledgeable.

This is a small but interesting garden in the middle of the city. What makes it interesting is how tightly packed everything is and how the whole garden is in a sinkhole.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is a small attraction compared to the size of many Florida attractions. But considering the park is located in downtown Sarasota, a 10 acre park in almost the center of town is large considering the location. The park was originally a very swampy area of Sarasota. It was developed... More

Love coming here and seeing the pink flamingos and parrots. I was quite surprised that you walk WITH the flamingos! And feed them too. Don't be surprised if you have a big pink head reaching over your shoulder to see what you have in your hands.

I enjoyed the visit and felt the price was reasonable. Seeing the beautiful grounds, brought back so many memories of past days when the beauty of Florida was cherished. Today, all we see is Amusement Parks!! The birds and flowers were beautiful! I can't wait to see the garden decorated for Christmas!!

Jungle Gardens looks like 1970 - I loved walking around and seeing the wildlife, but felt I was in a time warp - fun to see for a 2 hour excursions!

Response, Thanks for the review. We are often called an “Old Florida Attraction.” We have been open to the public since the mid-1930s. It’s great to hear you enjoyed walking around our jungle trails and seeing the animals. More

This was a cool place to take the family when they came in from out of town. I had never been here before but it sounded like a good time. Indeed, it was a good time. Among all the animals that were there and neat to see, I have never seen flamingos so close and my 6 year old daughter... More
