It's rare these days to be able to walk into a place and receive a tactile sensation of being surrounded by real paper. One of the older businesses in Sarasota it is a great location to come and spend some time. The prices are quite reasonable and you'll end up with a lot more than you planned on buying and... More

Elvis the dog is a pleasant surprise for kids who run out of steam and patience with parents who find chairs at every nook and turn to sit and read... More

This store was fantastic, the atmosphere was just how I imagine when I want to peruse through books. The lady that worked there was very helpful in directing us to the sections we were looking for and we had a great conversation with her. From what we bought for books the prices were great and they take trades as well.... More

Overall, a lot of books and as long as they are price-marked they'll honor the price. BUT BEWARE, if you find a book with an unmarked price (and there are many), be sure it'll be marked SKY HIGH when taken to checkout, why? Well, because 1) they are sloppy and didn't mark it when it came in; and 2) well..you... More
