I was baptised in this church and like to visit whenever in the area. It is a beautiful church, well maintained with good facilities. I love lighting a candle and simply relaxing in the peaceful calm of this ancient building and having some contemplative time. The services are wonderful too! Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A beautiful church which welcomes family’s and their little ones every Wednesday for a fun toddler group. The highlight of my little ones week. He can’t wait to go to church. It gives a great sense of belonging for parents and wonderful support. Thank you to everyone involved in supporting our village church. Especially mother Karen who runs wonderful services.

Church is pretty, calm and a lovely quiet place for reflection during busy days. St. Nicholas is a charming, unassuming but friendly place.

I like churches. I have visited many. St Nicholas-at-Wade Church is at the top end of the scale of nice churches to visit. It is easy to park nearby, even though it is in a small village. The village has 2 pubs within walking distance. Both are friendly and offer good fare. The church itself is well maintained and cared for. It is one of the focal points of the village. It is open during the day. I have been there many times and each time seen something different. The church has a huge amount of history, which is easy to see by looking carefully. Well worth a visit.
