Turtle beach is quiet, clean and not crowded. There was plenty of available parking and it was only 1 minute from the cozy cove condos where we stayed. Picnic tables and picnic areas are available for all to use. Great place.

This beach is so nice. It's quiet with super soft white sand. The Water is a gorgeous blue makes you feel like you're in the tropics. It's perfect for families, couples or even just by yourself!

Siesta Key beach is very wide and the water is a long walk from the entrance. Its also always busy and parking is rough. Turtle Beach is a more quiet and enjoyable option.

very nice out of season visit on Veteran's Day weekend. Nice walking beach, sand is a little less powdery than the ones further north. Some nice shells to pick up. Not a lot of parking so probably hard to visit when there are more people...More

It was beautiful there. Beach was busy but not overly crowded. It is a totally different vibe from Sieata Key and definitely worth the drive to experience. Plus the siesta key trolley stops there every 20 minutes or so for free from the village.

Nice gulf beach, no amenities, bring your own, locals and day visitors like it, it is just down the beach from the beach in front of our apartment.

We have stayed at Fisherman's Cove on Turtle Beach for about 8 years in a row, search VRBO for available condos. Minutes away from Siesta Key Beach and Village. You're steps away from the shore on Turtle Beach opposed to what seems like a mile...More

We had a room at the Bay Tree Beach Club and our room overlooked the beach and it wasnt a far walk to it. Private path going to it. Was perfect! Hardly anyone was on the beach!!

They have left this area go natural and its a nice contrast to the developed parts of this expanse of beach- starting with Siesta - a nice walk here on a windy day ended early because it was really blowing- but still, quite beautiful.

Not sure why all sand is not the same, but I do know that Turtle Beach sand is more course and made up from shells while Siesta Key, Lido, Cresent sand is made up of quartz so it is soft and powdery. Turtle beach is a nice... More
