The hot springs is a nice view and welcome after a long hike, but the water is filled with bugs. Be cautious as the there a nats that will bite you apart. The locals have a self-run market on the pool side with drinks and light food. Note that the tickets (as of summer 2016) were 5 sol each. The... More

Our family of four enjoyed a few hours here along with many tour groups soaking our weary bodies in the warm clean clear waters.

By far the cleanest thermal baths we have been to! Lovely warm clear water. Went here on our jungle trek and it seems so did everyone else passing on a trek on some sort. However with 4 large pools it didn't feel overcrowded. Really enjoyed this place.. would defiantly recommend! S/10 for entry (or included in most tours).

Nestled in the heart of the mountain, the hot springs of Cocalmayo offer 4 pools directly connected to the mountain. The entrance is 20 soles (7$) which is very affordable one day after Machu Picchu

This was a great place to relax and spend time. It has snacks and drinks available to buy. I recommend going during the early evening as the waters are nice and hot and the crowds are smaller.

This is what we needed after a whole day hike (part of inka jungle trek). It was quite busy as it was weekend but it was definitely worth 10 soles entrence fee. Clean water, three pools, showers with hot and cold water. Just amazing

I love these hot springs! The temperatures in the various pools are perfect! I love the fact that there is a constant flow of water that keeps the pools nice and clean. The water is blue & crystal clear. It is a perfect way to relax after hiking in Machu Picchu!

Great experience, as it wasn't very busy. There are 4 pools to choose from from the "kiddy" pool to deeper pools as well - all varying temperatures. The changing rooms are minimal, but they are there. The road along the river is beautiful, a place not to miss.

Really we came here to camp - we had not realized the close proximity of the wonderfully clean and beautiful inset hot pools into the rock cliffs, neatly nestled next to the raging Urubamba river! Awesome. Go here, not Aguas Calientes.
