This is a free and fun way to see Tallahassee from a bird's-eye point of view. Although you must go through security, including metal detector, once finished there is a treat when you get to go to the top of the building and see the area from 360 degrees. In addition to the awesome view, each time my hubby and... More

We are on a road trip to all 48 contiguous states. We include the state capitol in each state. This is one of the few that has completely abandoned its historic capitol and constructed a relatively new office complex to replace the old structure. The 22-story office building is worth viewing. It takes about 45 minutes to complete the self-guided... More

If you've never been to the top of the capital, you're missing out! It's completely free and easy. You just walk in, go through security, and up to the top floor of the elevator. Tallahassee's best kept secret! You can see everything in town! The most amazing view by far

The new capitol building is a gorgeous building filled with fine art, paintings, portraits and murals. You can see the house and senate floors, and on every floor there is artwork to be admired. Be sure to go to the 22nd floor for a panoramic view of the city.

The top floor, elevator to travel up, is a wonderful place to look in all four directions. Descriptions tell what you are seeing. A great way to see above the trees.

Get to see your state capital at work. Interesting and informative. It is a little hard to find and the streets are pretty narrow.

I'm assuming this review is about the New Building which from the distance-- thanks to some architectural design joke of a flaw--looks like a certain part of the male anatomy. It is stupifingly boring. An unintentional paean to idiocy in design. The old Capitol Building, however, is gorgeous. You walk into that building and you find yourself in the middle... More

The highlight of this 22 story capital building is the observation deck on the 22 nd floor. This is the tallest building in Tallahassee. You can also visit the Senate and House of Representative Chambers.

Had some business here, the new part is just a big old building but there is a great view of the area from top floor.
