Good way to spend a few hours

We spent a good 3 hours here. Loved the interactive elements and the way it's all laid out. All on all... worth a visit

Was disappointed in the overall content for the price. We took our time but we're still done in 2 hours so it was a hefty admission price for that.

This is the 3rd aquarium we have visited. Out of the three: Ripley's, Georgia, and The Florida Aquarium, I would rate this one just behind the Georgia Aquarium in 3rd place. It's much much much smaller than any of those aquariums were. About half the size. For a small aquarium, they do have a many exhibits and we were never... More

Set aside two hours to roam around and see all the fish and animals. The aquarium is clean and well done. Great for children.

We did not know what to expect here, as we have been disappointed with other aquariums. This one had package deals, and we took a "dolphin cruise" package. We didn't see dolphins, but the narrator did explain about the wild life there. we got to touch sting rays, and meet a penguin.

Very nice attraction but not cheap. I was there on a Saturday with my daughter and her husband on my first visit to Tampa. We enjoyed feeding the sting rays and watching the reef fish. There were a lot of small children running around unsupervised which was a little irritating. You should allow 3 hours to really see everything and... More

Great learning experience. The big tank had barracuda, sharks, grouper, and snapper. It was pretty cool seeing the tiger sharks in the tank. The mock up of the mangroves, in the shallow flats was neat. It had some big red fish, black drum, and mangrove snapper in the tank also. They had to much to list, and it's a good... More

We enjoyed all the displays which ranged from alligators, otters, sea cucumbers. eels, jelly fish, and seahorses to turtles and octopus. The aquarium's "Journey to Madagascar" was very interesting also where you can see lemurs. chameleons and geckos. They give a senior discount. There is also a cafeteria. It took us about 2 and a half hours to go through... More

Recently, my nieces from the Pacific Northwest came for a visit. We all thought it would be fun to go to the aquarium. An hour's drive later we paid to park and in we wents only to find out that the admission fee was a hefty $25/person admission. But, we were there we were so we paid the fee and... More
