Skip the zoo and come here! This fantastic place takes care of wild cats that you get to see *very* close up. The tour lasts about 90 minutes so you get a lot of walking and can see a lot of animals. One of my favorite moments was the tiger in the 'vacation' 2 acre pin, noticing our group coming... More

We enjoyed the 90 minute walking tour seeing many different cats. Not all the cats were out and visible. We did the 3 pm tour on a beautiful day. Really enjoyed hearing the stories behind each rescue cat.

We had a great tour of the facilities which lasted about two hours. These magnificent animals are just beautiful and the care that they receive is wonderful. The tour consisted of a walk through the grounds with an extremely knowledgeable care giver. He explained how each animal came to the facility and what it takes to care and how they... More

Found it interesting on how, where and why the have the cats. They have a good variety of cats. They have anywhere from 50 to a 100 cats.

If you like Big Cats, this is a wonderful place to visit. You (one) can obviously not get too close to the animals, but they are something to see. The lion was the largest one I have ever seen, and there was a large variety of tigers. The tour guide was very informative. The tour lasted about 1 1/2 hours.... More

This is a sanctuary rescue facility for big cats of many varieties - lions, tigers, leopards, servals, caracals, lynx, bob cats, cougars and probably others I don't remember. We took the Keepers Tour. At over 2 hours, we saw the entire place, led by a very knowledgeable staff member (who said that all staff are volunteers!). We first made some... More

I was fortunate enough to go to Big Cat Rescue on January 8th and took a Keeper's Tour. We got to make enrichment for the cats, and as we toured, our keeper passed out the goodies. It was a very educational experience as well as enjoyable. First and foremost, the enclosures are massive. The cats have tons of room to... More

I enjoyed the entire 90 minute tour. Everything was very well presented. Most of the Big cats were visible, a few were sleeping out of range. The tour guide was very informative as were the recorders we were all given at the beginning. I had used a golf cart to get around and the driver made sure I saw and... More
