Open air shopping around a fountain. Great place to walk about and relax while shopping and after dining. Unique shops and restaurants i.e. Goody Goody Hamburger (very nostalgic Old Tampa), Piquante, a French inspired kind of Spanish Quirky Cuisine, Color Me Mine Ceramics, Wine Exchange, CineBistro, features a great park neighborhood park with water play fountain for kids to splash... During our week in Tampa, we visited Hyde Park several times. Cinebistro was an excellent movie experience....food and drinks available...super comfortable seating. We dined at the Exchange and were very pleased. Piquant Epicurean was just o.k. as was the cupcake from Sprinkles ATM machine. Many shops and other food options. During the weekend there was an outdoor market with a... More

Love the area. Parking garage is free. Shops are nice and close. Shopping district has a historic yet modern feel.

Highly recommend walking the side streets down to Bayshore drive. My wife and I walk every weekend we are in the city around the side streets and along Bayshore Drive.

Great view of all the old homes in the Tampa. Located on Tampa Bay with many fabulous homes that are well maintained.

Drove through this neighborhood several times on the way to restaurants and the vibe was excellent and friendly and the homes were incredible. Right on the water, with Southern charm. Nice place to move into.

We were there when there was a concert on the lawn. The music was amazing. The food trucks were great and we have no complaints. Watching the people ice skating was a plus so was the area/scenery.

Love to drive past all the lovely homes, lots of variety, Spanish style, Craftsman with charming porches, etc. Pretty landscaping is universal.

On a leisurely Sunday afternoon, afford yourself the historic ambiance of Hyde park both the residential part and the commercial scene. The urban "forest" will shade and the little shops will entice you to slow your pace and look around.

I've been to Hyde Park several times over the years. I love to walk the sidewalks or drive the streets looking at the vintage homes, many classic bungalows. The homes - NOT McMansions - have character and look like great places to raise families.
