Checked out a Recreation Guide put out by Florida regarding areas to visit. Morris Bridge was close to where we were staying and from description a nice place to spend time and enjoy Florida's natural state. Guide said admission fee was charged, but no where in the book or on the website did it say how much. The fee is... More

I've been biking at Morris Bridge for close to 20 years the trails are scenic, not difficult but not easy, lots of tree roots twists and turns along the single-track but not a lot of elevation change. Youll see birds, snakes and an occasional alligator by the old sugar mill that overlooks the water. the trails are marked fairly well... More

First visit, even though I grew up here, just moved away before the park was built. Great job, Hillsborough County. We did about 2 1/2 mile nature trail and bicycle path walk. Gators, birds, birds, birds, and fishermen. Lots of Dads with their kids and their brand new fishing outfits on the day after Christmas. Even some 3 inch bream... More

We were disappointed that while certain areas are dog friendly the boardwalks did not appear to be for Morris Bridge Park. The park across the street was though.

Great place to take the bikes or just go for a walk. The river is quite close and lots of wild life to look for. TAKE THE CAMERA!!! Better when the weather is cooler. Don't go after a big rain.

We went for the trail! Nice and scenic bike ride with water stop, restrooms and air for the tires. A lot of wild life to be seen.

You'll never be out of ear shot of traffic, but this is as close as you can get to being away from it all this close to town. Be alert for trail bikers if you're hiking. You'll see plenty of signs of wild pig infestation. If you see any, DON'T approach them; they are not cute little piggies! Be sure... More

This is a spot you may miss if you don't know where it is since it isn't very well marked. We have lived in Tampa for years and enjoy strolls along the river here. You can stay on boardwalk on one side of the street and also go under the bridge and walk through the woods for a longer hike.... More

Rustic park for easy hiking (flat, some boardwalks) communing with nature: along the river paths and viewing nature: otters, hawks, buzzards, gators many water birds and few humans. Paths maybe flooded during periods of heavy rain.clean bathrooms.

To walk, enjoy a picnic or simply enjoy nature at its best. This is a place to put your sneakers on and have a good time.
