Great rainy day or too hot to be outside day activity! Bring the kid's bathing suit or change of clothes because there is a splash fountain outside! Also, the first Tuesday of EVERY month is FREE for the whole family!

It's the prefect place to spend the day with young kids. With three different levels dedicated to learning activities. Just outside water activities so if it's summer bring a change of clothes.

This place has a wide variety of things for kids to explore. It caters to younger kids especially, ages 10 and under. We spent probably 3 hours at the museum. And if you get hungry there is a Subway restaurant in house.

This museum has 3 levels of learning and fun for young children. They also have toddlers areas that are blocked off to older children so they can have friends their own size play around them as they explore. In the summer, they offer specials and...More

This is a great spot to take children under 5 years old. We took our almost 5 YO and he really loved exploring all the play areas. We mistakenly went on one of their "free" days so it was really busy, but my son was...More

Really excited we found a museum for kids that wasn't too busy on a late Sat afternoon. We bought the family membership and expect many more returns. Great for our 2 year old!!

The first Tuesday of every month is FREE Tuesday. Since the kids are off of school I took my 6 children (ages 4-15) because hey, 6 kids are not cheap. I've seen the museum quite a few times but had never been there before. The...More

So this place was very nice and located downtown Tampa. Our hotel was right around the corner. We visited on a holiday but the size made it where it wasn't crowded. The first floor was for babies and very small children. The second floor was...More

How long does it take to go through the whole museum? I'm wondering how many hours to allow for the visit. Any suggestions on average time spent at the museum?

Hi, you could spend 3-4 hours here if you wanted to. It's almost difficult to pull the kids out of there because they love it so much. We did go once for an hour because we didn't know what was inside and needed to check it... More

I say the oldest you should take a child is 10 years old. It is really geared a lot to younger kids specially toddlers. Your kids might get a bit bored or under stimulated...

I would not take them. It is geared toward kids about 10 and under and 10 is pushing it.
