I see many reviews said this in not connected to the Suncoast. Yet I have biked on a connector trail from the Upper Tampa Bat Trail Head following Lutz Lake Fern Road to the terminus of the Suncoast. What is needed is for the upper section to connected to the lower portion between Van Dyke Road and Peterson Road. I... More

Upper Tampa Bay Trail offers a well maintained asphalt trail which takes you away from traffic and urban noise. Trail offers both shade and sunshine, and also provides a degree of undulation. The trail is always kept clean and is well marked.

Nice wide path from Old Memorial and W. Waters Avenue for miles past Citrus Park north. The path is generally off the main roads, quiet, trees but easy access to the local area.

One of the most exciting things about moving to Westchase was certainly the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. It is a perfect bike/hiking path which is mostly at grade. The heartbreak comes when you ascend the cross-way at Citrus Park Drive but the rest of the trail is almost completely level. There is some wild life on the trail especially along... More

Great walking place when the weather is sunny. My dog loves it, but dogs have to stay on the lead. Great for a day out, lots of seats along the way, so take your picnic!

This bike path has been in Tampa since 1995. Great path to get some distance in. It's extremely flat compared to other major cities, except the gunn hwy overpass. This makes it easy for everyone. At a few points it seems like a toxic trail as it takes you past big cat rescue which smells like an extra extra large... More

This is my favorite trail for walking. I go every week. Can be busy but not too overcrowded. It feels like you are walking in a park. Plenty of trees, water and open spaces. You would never know that you are near streets and highways. Early in the morning is the best time. Highly recommend.

Well maintained bike path with ups, downs, shade, urban areas, and rural farms with cows and chickens.

I love both running and riding my bike here. During the hot summer months the canopy of trees make for a beautiful location.
