    Low key family beach
Relaxing low key beach that's great for those with young families are those looking to relax by the water. The main beach is on a peninsula with picnic and walking trails on the mainland portion of the park. The water is shallow, clear, with light waves and plenty of fish to see along the shore. There is a kayak rental stand on the peninsula along with chair rentals. There was a good deal of seaweed, but there is still plenty of water that is seaweed free. Restrooms are clean. I recommend going early in the day and if you bring food, put it in a cooler or your car. The birds have no fear.

    Amazing scenery
We parked in the car park just before the causeway (which is free) and then walked on the causeway over to the beach. It doesn't take too long to walk across and the views are amazing on both sides. There are restrooms by the beach as well as where we parked before the causeway. Great fun watching all the kite surfers on the island, and although it was very very windy we enjoyed walking round on the beach. Definitely recommend coming here but park for free before the causeway and do the walk across.

    Lovely little beach
It is just a lovely spot. We were there New Years and thought it was going to be busy but wasn’t. It’s like a tiny island with a great strip of beach. They have a fair amount of amenities. Seems a little like a hidden gem. The kids had a lot of fun and it was wonderful for northerners like us. Highly recommend if you are looking for a distinct beach experience.

    Calm, clean and pretty.
Always lovely. They don't catch spring breakers and so it's pretty calm out there. Nice place to visit and chill. Surprised that dogs not allowed in parking lots either especially when you are traveling. Certainly worth a stop. Nice picnic area.

Calm clear waters perfect for small kids. No waves. There is a $5 fee to park. Just okay beach because of sea grass and tiny shell filled sands.

Small but lovely breezy island end of causeway you will enjoy when not busy. $5 to park & toilets in restroom building. Bring all your own food & items.

We use to love this beach, but seriously clean up the sea weed! It STUNK terrible! We took our out of state friends and were embarrassed after telling them how beautiful it was.

Not what I was expecting for a gulf beach. It was not pretty at all! There was so much sea grass, the water was not clear. Parking was $5,and there was plenty of parking. $30 to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella. We were thankful for that!
