Like many others, we visited s Blowing Rocks Preserve next door was shut. Too windy just after Hurricane Matthew to do much more than a little walk, but lovely arhed tress on the approach to the beach, and I had the trill of seeing a large black snake swiftly disappear into the grass as I approached on the path. See... More

This is one of my favorite beaches with public access. Just south of entrance are coral rocks which are scenic and fun for kids & adults to explore. Can be a bit difficult to enter water near rock formations. Good for snorkeling when the ocean is calm and the tide is right. In the alternative, watching the waves crashing into... More

We were trying to get to blowing rocks but there was absolutely no parking at high tide. We came upon this beach. It was beautiful but we were unprepared. Definitely having water shoes would have been a big help when negotiating the rocks both above and under water. Once you get into the water, there is ample sea life and... More

A ton of.shells to pick by the rocks. Didn't stay long because rental umbrellas weren't available. Sand was burning hot. A few other people were there, like 20 people. Parking is free. Water is a lot clearer than boynton and delray

We visited in the middle of july which is both nesting and hatching season for sea turtles (be sure to visit the Loggerhead Marine Life center just south of here) We wanted to visit the Blowing Rocks Preserve at high tide but they do not open until 9 am and their parking area is locked and no parking on the... Excellent spot for snorkeling especially when the water is crystal clear. Also a good spot to take nice pictures.

I was looking for a place with better parking and more hours of availability than Blowing Rock and found it here just south of Blowing Rock Preserve. There were plenty of rocks, lots of wave action, great parking, dogs allowed on walkways, and a lifeguard was on duty. It was just what I was looking for!

I love this beach and I'e taken my children hear for years. There are some amazing rocks that blow the water up into the air. Close off the beach there are some more large rocks with corals and fish that are great for the kids to explore. There is a nice playground near the parking lot as well as showers... More
