We are from Indiana and just last year discovered how wonderful Florida state parks are. This park did not disappoint. We camped for 3 nights and loved every minute. I would say the campsites are semi private at best but your not right on top...More

Seriously, so beautiful! Never would have guessed anything would be like this in Florida. You have to go. The trails are well marked and cleared. You do have to pay to go in. I believe it’s $6 for more than one person in a car....More

No because there are alligators in the river. Cool to see from a canoe, not so much from a float.

It wasn't open while we were there in February. I found this on their webste, "Please contact the park office for the most up-to-date swimming pool information: (813) 987-6771."
