Walk, ride, skate, run, birdwatch to your heart's content. Plenty of open space keeps you from tripping over each other.

Flatwoods is different for many people, although no motor powered vehicles allowed. Perhaps most would use the 7 mile paved loop, accessed via either a 0.6 miles, or a 2 miles section to the two parking areas. This is frequented by runners, cyclists, roller skaters,...More

It seemed like a lovely park. My husband and two dogs went for a walk there on Tuesday. The weather was nice. The park was clean. My only complaint is the "trail map" is completely useless. My husband took a photo of the posted trail...More

Excellent place for biking. Long, hilly runs and flat as well. Asphalted throughout. Some sections under water after heavy rains. Full of wildlife!

There's not too much to write up. It's a great place to bike or hike. The courtesy stations are clean and well-kept, and at a two-dollar fee (on the honor system) it's a great value.

This is a biking and walking park. Nice hiking trails through the woods where you are likely to see deer and pigs. The paved trail runs from both entrances and provides great distance and lap oriented biking throughout the park. There are offroad trails as...More

We have only used the bike trails at Flatwoods. I think there are several hiking trails in the area. Look up Hillsborough State park. I know they have lots of hiking trails. Not sure about the dogs.
