The river tour boat drivers are very knowledgeable on the history of the area and the wild life you'll see....which included at least 15 different kinds of birds, alligators and even manatees. It's a 45 minute trip worth the meager fee of $8.00 for seniors.

Took the boat tour. Loved everything about it. Cool trees, cool birds, cool reptiles. Fish. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this place.

This park truly fascinated my adventurous spirit. We had a blast jumping off of the platform and playing in the sand, but snorkeling along the roped off area and gazing in the underworld near the massive spring was amazing to me. The boat ride was nice and informative, but don't sit near the motor the fumes are bothersome. The restaurant... More

Highly recommend taking the boat trip. We saw abundant wildlife- lots of birds and alligators. Best seating is on right side, starboard, and up front. Highly recommended.

I am so glad I visited here. I went on the boat ride first thing in the morning on both days that I stayed at the lodge. The wild life was incredible but different on both days. Great bird watching. Great alligator watching! We even saw a manitee. Another guest asked how I found about the place because I'm from... More

Originally from southern Louisiana, growing up my parents would sometimes detour our road trips to Walt Disney World with a stop at Wakulla Springs State Park. A few years ago, they did the same thing with my daughters and niece, staying overnight at the Lodge. The girls are all teenagers now, and while visiting my parents on Christmas break, we... More

Any trip to the park should include a ride on the river. The tour guides are interesting and knowledgeable, the scenery amazing and the wild life abundant. The views of the spring from the water side it awesome.

Took a two-day trip from Jacksonville FL with my daughter. We spent the night at the Lodge. That afternoon we took the boat tour. What a wonderful experience! The springs and river were beautiful and majestic. Because of the time of year, it looked rather eerie, which added to the overall experience. We say plenty of alligators, various birds and... More

One of the best attractions to visit if you're in the area. The springs are world renowned and beautiful. You can go on the glass-bottom boat tour or the jungle cruise, both are great. They have a beautiful hotel and restaurant on the premises. I have never stayed in the hotel but I've been told it is very nice. Food... More

We are from Indiana and we absolutely loved the boat-tour. The ranger/guide of the tour was a friendly and very informative person. We got to see many alligators, birds and manatees. The tour is pretty cheap as compared to the amazing biodiversity one gets to see and is worth every penny!
