The Sanctuary is well maintained our guide was female and very knowledgeable. They have several big cats and quite a variety of animals. The weather has been warm and lots of the animals were sleeping, they seemed well cared after.

I have been meaning to write a review for this sanctuary for so long that I actually forgot the name of the wonderful guide who led our tour, which is unfortunate because her breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm greatly enhanced our experience. I have vacationed in South Florida since I was a little girl and have always loved it, but... More

Bridgette did such a great job providing insight on all the different types of animals (all of which are well taken care of) in the sanctuary! Would definetely recommend in the west palm beach/ palm springs area.

Kara our guide was very knowledgeable about the animals, She clearly cared a great deal about them. This is not a zoo. McCarthy's takes care of animals who have no other place to go. It was great to see them close up in a caring environment.

I can't believe in all of the years we have been visiting my mother that we never heard of this place! What a wonderful 2 hour tour with Brie! Brie was not only knowledgeable, but her passion and enthusiasm were awesome to watch. She worked very hard at getting some of the animals to show off for us. My kids... More

We took our grandkids here while they were visiting and they loved it! You can really see the animals much closer up than you can in any zoo and our grandkids enjoyed that they could hold some of the animals like a parrot, turtle, kinkachoo, tarantula and even a snake! Kara was our tour guide and she did a great... More

What an incredible way to spend a couple of hours. Brie the tour guide was fun, knowledgeable, and in tune with the animals and us. We learned, laughed, and loved the Sanctuary. We will definitely go again.

I am so glad we took this tour. Our guide, Tara, was excellent. It was immediately evident that the animals were her family, not just her job. She took great pride in them and wanted to not only inform our group about that particular animal, but also about their breed and their natural habitat. The animals were all in immaculate... More
