This zoo takes good care of it's animals and cares about conservation issues. Most of the animals are in roomy habitats and are provided with stimulating toys and treats. The zoo also has a lovely large splash fountain for children to play in. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and the food is good.

We took advantage of the grandchildren visiting and stole them to give their parents a break. The menagerie is fairly complete for a nice warm and sunny day walk and the children were glad to be outside. It was also a nice change of scenery from the beach.

Hello QCao009, Thank you so much for taking the time to review Palm Beach Zoo! We absolutely LOVE that you chose a ZOOcation over a day at the beach - it really is a great change of pace and scenery isn't it? We hope to see you and the grandkids again for Breakfast with Santa, Noon Year's Eve, our Save... More

A very cute zoo with nice staff and very walkable with good and very approachable exhibits. Terrific for small children but not something like a Bronz or San Diego Zoo

Throughout the years I've visited the zoo on many occasions, and really enjoy the small size and relaxing feel. On this visit they were celebrating the grand opening of their new exhibits and rescued panther, what a beautiful area! It's such a joy to see the animals happy and enjoying their natural habitats, so many that would never have a... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of animals and presentations we enjoyed during our FOUR hour visit. They offer a different animal talk every half hour. Very well done and it keeps you moving around seeing different areas of the zoo. Would highly recommend spending some time here.

This is the first time I went to the zoo here in West Palm Beach. It is small and EXACTLY the right size for me. It is very well laid out and new exhibits are being added. Really a nice time.

Hello glenuehlein - speaking of new exhibits - we hope you can join us for our Public Grand Opening this Saturday if you're in town for the holiday weekend! We are unveiling Mardi (white alligator) and Micco's (FL panther ambassador) new homes - plus you will meet Sassy, a rescued Florida panther for the very first time! Thanks for taking... More

My husband, my two small boys, and I visited on Veterans Day and had a great time. The zoo is laid out very well and all of the animals are extremely visible. We really had a great time. Only downside was there was a party that rented out part of the zoo so a portion was closed to us but... More

Hello Courtney V! It looks like you came to visit us on the day of 'Do at the Zoo' our annual fundraiser for wildlife. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and for Mardi being unaccessible. Here's hoping you are in town for the Public Grand Opening / Unveiling (Thanksgiving weekend) of Mardi's new home with underwater views! Micco our... More

We were there for boo at the zoo and the kids had a blast. The weather was cool and animals were all out. Great for walking around and getting some exercise in.
