On the far-eastern coast, you'll find coral reefs in water so shallow that you can actually walk out to them. Along the beach are the Long Bay Hotel and the rambling Allegro Resort Pineapple Beach.

Stumbled across this en route to Devils Bridge. Ghastly place, overdeveloped and people crammed onto the beach. Watersports galore, bit of a Benidorm to me! Avoid it like the plague. Shame really, I am sure the bay was lovely before the money arrived?

The beach itself is not special, but it is very nice and a great place to go relax and socialize. Lovely sandy beach, clear water, and it slopes off very slow with no current. Perfect if you have kids

Long bay is one of those beaches that you keep going back to as the sea is clear and there isn't a huge dip once you get in to go down. It tends to be a straight path into the water and you can see...More

Nice beach with some decent snorkelling off the beach. Locals use beach but all seemed safe. Few shacks selling stuff....bit pricey but ok for presents.

Nice beach, clean clear water, not too much seaweed. Good snorkelling. Few shops and hotel bar that I presume would serve drinks.

Beautiful azure sea, soft sand. It is though Atlantic facing so is a bit colder and waves a bit stronger than other beaches. Beach bar was OK and reasonably priced - meals 7-10 USD each.

This is where locals might go for a swim at sundown. Lovely soft white sand and tranquil blue sea. The Pineapple Beach Hotel is at the other end and is all inclusive so stay at the public end if you are not a guest. Little...More

This is well worth a visit just for the crystal clear waters and to mix with the locals. We've been many times now and it's great to see the schools using it as an education for the kids. The sand is white and it's very...More

Walked here from the Veradah resort and loved to swim and snorkel. One of the best beaches on the island.
