On the far-eastern coast, you'll find coral reefs in water so shallow that you can actually walk out to them. Along the beach are the Long Bay Hotel and the rambling Allegro Resort Pineapple Beach.

This small beach area was part of our club stay at the Pineapple Beach Club. There were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas on this very calm water stretch. The sea was beautifully clear and ideal for snorkelling amongst the fish. There were a few beach huts selling the usual holiday stuff but they weren't too invasive on this tranquil beach... More

A good balance of not too busy a beach with some facilities. The strong easterly wind blew our umbrella out but there are sun beds and umbrellas to hire which look quite sturdy. The box like development of the nearby Pineapple resort is a bit dominant at the far end of the beach, but it's in the distance.

Came here after visiting Devil's Bridge, which is a short stroll away. This is a great beach with much to see and do, particularly if you are keen on water sports. Well worth a visit!

Nice beach. Popular with a lot of people on weekends day. Good for families with children since there is no waves.

The beach itself was nice. There were chairs and umbrellas to rent. However, despite what the cab driver may tell you, there are not changing rooms or restrooms to use. There are 2 resteraunts on the stretch of beach. But only 1 is open on Tuesdays (the day we went) it has a bathroom for customers to use but the... More

Long Bay beach was adjacent to our resort, and is dominated by the Pineapple Beach Club resort. The access road on the far east of the beach, away from the resort, is a drop-off point for cruise ship passengers, the amount of which can vary greatly day to day. The sand is very fine grained, packs tightly and is a... More

Water is clear and calm, protected by the reef. Lots of beautiful fish. Shade and sun loungers available. Snack bar with washrooms on site. The addition of public washrooms to this location would be great.

I was here when the wind was strong, not very busy. Went back when it was calm, way busy for my tastes when in Antigua. Too many beaches in Antigua if you don't want crowded.
