Despite living in Florida for 40 years, I had never heard of this place until my kids read about it online. On our recent road trip from south Florida to Tallahassee, we detoured 30 minutes off I-75 to check it out. Unlike many natural attractions, this one is not inside a state or federal park, but is on private property.... More

We arrived at 2 pm and checked in at the office. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were directed to an area to temporarily drop off our gear in the courtyard at a covered picnic table. After parking your car you can leave a set of your keys with the front desk if so desired. We suited up in... More

We have done a lot of ocean snorkeling, but this is our first cave snorkel trip. Interesting to see and try once. Go very early or crowded with scuba divers. Gear rental and towel purchases available.

Devils Den is not a big place but it was worth the dive. We rented one 80 tank filled at 3000psi and we came out having 1500 left. Total depth was 60 feet. it will only take you about 20 minutes to descend and swim around the base. It was worth the experience but I don't think I'll return. Staff... More

We went on October 29th. It was a Saturday. I was expecting a very long wait because I arrived after 12, but we really didn't have to wait at all. The staff was very helpful, and friendly. When we walked down the view was amazing. The water was very cold but surprisingly as soon as we were emerged , we... More

We traveled up to Devils Den at the recommendation of a dive shop in Fort Lauderdale after wind canceled our ocean diving plans for the weekend. If you are a diver, you are a VIP here. While those checking in to snorkel had to wait their turn, divers had no wait. We paid, drove to the unloading area, and were... More

A very friendly adventure. Camping was clean and quiet except for the lovely sounds of cows owls cats raccoons and many other creatures. The den was exactly what I suspected. Beautiful and calming. Such a refreshing day. Workers and visitors all pleasant and helpful

Perfect midweek off-season. We were the first divers in the water at 10:30. A few more came while we were still in but it was awesome having the place to ourselves. It is very different than I expected from looking at the surface. There are huge boulders sitting ajar and askew down there creating cranes and crevasses and swim throughs.... More

I was excited to scuba dive at Devil's Den since I had seen many pictures and the location looked good. My experience, however, was terrible. Firstly, though - let's speak about the location. The facilities are decent; plenty of parking, easy access, restrooms are available (although I didn't use them), and they had a firepit going which was a nice... More

I went there early on a weekday and was able to enjoy the Devil's Den all by myself for a while. It is a great and beautiful place. Haven't seen anything like this before and I'm really glad I got the chance to spend some time there and was able to snorkel in the cave. The staff is great too!
