I stopped in Vogel State Park today to see a friend camping there. It was a beautiful, scenic park - very quiet. The campgrounds were nice - a bit close together.

Beautiful state park and campground. Photographer and nature lovers paradise. Several easy hiking paths for families with small children as well as more challenging trails. Clean restrooms and picnic areas.

Very clean and well kept recreational area. The pavilions are really nice also. My family is having a reunion here in June and it should be a good time.

Beautiful park nestled in the mountains. Has a waterfall you can walk to or just see from the road before you arrive there. Has a beautiful lake and picnic area.

Great park with a beautiful waterfall. Love the amenities for camping as well. Suitable for visits in spring, summer or fall as there is a lake for water activities for warmer weather, but the leaf changing season is beautiful also.

We didn't do a strenuous hike out of Vogel, merely a post-Thanksgiving stroll with the dogs (ours and relatives staying over). First visit to the park and impressed with how well it was cared for. Didn't check out the restrooms but there were facilities available, along with a gift shop we couldn't take the dogs into so we skipped that... More

We hiked around the lake and to the falls at Vogel State Park and it was so beautiful! The weather was perfect and the changing trees were gorgeous!
