Our family of six decided to break away one day of our vacation and visit the park all day for some quality time and fresh air. What a treat! We went fishing, played on two playgrounds, had a picnic, rented two Aqua-Cycles for the lake,...More

A beautiful place to stop for a picnic lunch and to hike a few trails. The weather was very pleasant today. It is a great place to camp or for families to stay in the cabins as well. Hopefully we'll do that as a family...More

This park was the starting point of our hike and after doing the Bear hear Trail we still had enough time to discover the beauty of this park. The peacefulness of the lake can be enjoyed sitting on the benches that are alongside. The Trail...More

Camped here a few years ago but decided to stay in a cabin. The cabins are very nice but maybe a little pricey. The staff at check in was wonderful. All cabins were rented but it still did not feel packed at the park.

Nothing but beauty surrounds you in this amazing park! I visit whenever I can with my dogs. You can walk to a waterfall with ease or walk around the lake. I still haven't tried the paddle boats 🤣

We visited this weekend because of the Mountain music festival. The weather was perfect, the park was beautiful, the crowd was large, and the vendors interesting. We were a little disappointed with the music. The first performers were very good and bluegrass as we expected...More

Yes, you can go biking. Saw lots of people doing so. You can also rent bikes from the office if needed.

Unpredictable. Could be freezing; could be balmy. Very difficult to predict. If it's cold, then cabins are cozy and have good fireplaces for heat and atmosphere. If you're camping, you take your chances. Lots of folks... More
